Storydash builds websites, writes copy and stories, and produces content that thrums with heart, wit, and meaning. In essence, we are storytellers and problem-solvers. I'm Eric, a Florida-based, NYC-tested creative who finds the joy and humor in the process. My network of talented friends neatly complements my skills to meet your project's needs.
And, yes, Storydash can be challenging when giving my email address over the phone.
"It's Eric-at-storydash-dot-com. Not dash the symbol. Dash spelled out. No, dash with a D. Hello?"
Built the website for a non-profit organization in Jamaica, Queens, NYC that serves the mostly Bangladeshi community. Organized the creative team to rebrand the organization and produce videos. Site design by Natalie Saldivar.
Black Flag Metalsmith built an M12 Warthog, the iconic war vehicle from the video game Halo. I documented much of the build, wrote the script, and edited the video to promote the sale of the Warthog.
Managed marketing projects for Formation Team, a boutique real estate brokerage in NYC. Organized creative team to produce social content, videos, and digital ads. Developed this video ad with Muddy Trails Film Co.
Developed the college website in WordPress with a contract front-end developer and a tiny team of standard-sized designers and writers. Researched and built the payment and donation systems, met federal accessibility standards, and so much more. Site design by Natalie Saldivar.
Developed concept and built website for the Class of 2020 at The King's College NYC when their graduation was cancelled due to you-know-what. Each graduate had a profile. Over 2,900 comments were written for 116 graduates.

Keeping a Church Connected
Led rebrand of Hope Brooklyn, a tight-knit church community in NYC. Managed marketing—social media, email, video production, website—with team members in CA, FL, and NY. Moved the church online in 2020. After our first livestream service failed, I made a video to redeem the debacle. The church loved it, and pastors from other churches shared it around. (Original video on Instagram is gone, but here's a copy on YouTube.)
Ran Google search campaign for NYCIntern to rent housing to college students, making ads and landing pages. With no budget for video, I wrote the script and shot it on an iPhone, but the message reached our audience. We sold all inventory for Summer 2022.
Just for fun: I can work in front of the camera when needed! (I'm in the red tie.) This sci-fi spoof for Thankview shows how they reach supporters through video. Video by Failure Island.
It's true: wonderful things can start over email. What can we make together?
Etc...
A little more so you know what you're getting into.
ENFP
One Myers Briggs assessment dubs me an ENFP (the "Campaigner"), with a lively approach to life while searching for meaningful connections with others. Spot on!
2w3
On the Enneagram, I'm apparently a Helper who's charming and easy to communicate with. I don't know about charming, but I'm easy to talk to. Just use the contact form above!
Posh Spice
The BuzzFeed quiz told me I'm Posh Spice. I've considered myself many things, but "posh" hasn't been one of them. Not that I'm foolhardy enough to argue with the 'Feed.
Mage-Thief
I always end up being a magic-using, dual-wielding sneak in D&D. That must mean I'm a creative problem-solver whose actions speak louder than words. Or I just like wearing black.
